About Rachel
Rachel Judd is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in precision, curiosity, and a lifelong connection to creating art across a range of mediums and creative disciplines. Raised in an artistic family, she learned many of the fundamentals of visual art from her grandmother, artist Gayle Judd, and grew up surrounded by creativity through her father Randy, who is also an artist.
Rachel continued developing her practice throughout school and spent several years studying under Utah artist Bonnie Susec. Rather than adhering to a single medium or style, she enjoys experimenting with materials and allowing the idea behind a piece to determine the process. Her work moves between fine-line portraiture, wildlife and botanicals, mixed media, custom commissions, and other forms of creating, often incorporating drawing, marker, paint, colored pencil, collage, textiles, and other materials depending on the project.
Across styles and mediums, her work is united by meticulous attention to detail. Her broader creative interests extend into writing, design, craft, and functional art. Rachel has been creating and selling her work professionally for over six years, and her work has been featured in Laguna Beach Living and commissioned by collectors across a range of subjects and styles.
